It happens to all of us!
You were doing great. Winning was the norm. You finally thought that you arrived and your trading was going to now get you the financial success you were looking for.
Then, boom! One loss, then another and then another. All that you had gained was lost and even more! Ugh!
I have been there many times! It is so frustrating and heartbreaking! So now what?
First, you must push away that feeling of wanting to quit. Take some time off and let your mind rest for a few days.
Success is not achieved quickly. Failure along the journey is just as important or more so than your successes. Failure teaches us what you are doing wrong so pay attention to those times.
Now pick yourself up, commit yourself to being successful again and tell yourself that you can do it!
Here is what you need to do:
- Trade small: No matter how much you lost, you cannot try to make it up by trading big. You must be able to trade often and you must expect to take losses. So the smaller you trade, the more chances you will have to trade big again.
- Trade often: Trading is just like anything else that you want to be good at. It takes practice, discipline and commitment. Follow your rules whatever they are and test them. If they don’t work, change them. Eventually, you WILL find what works. But you have to commit to work through every challenge.
- Follow your trade plan: If you don’t have one, go back and create one based on one of my earlier emails I sent. Having a trade plan is what all successful traders go by and you need to have one.
It is really that simple! Now get to work.
If you are still stuck, reach out to me directly by replying to this email. It may take me a few days to respond, but I want help you break those barriers. You can do this!
